The Lady Justice found no concrete evidence to prove Jackie Maribe was involved in the murder of Monica Kimani.

However, Joshua Irungu alias Jowie was found guilty of the murder of business woman Monica Kimani.
The verdict;
"The court indeed found that Jowie knew Monica before her death but he had told the court he had never met or know Monica. The court with the evidence that the security personnel provide, the last person to be with Monica Kimani before her death"
"When the doctrine of the last seen applied the law presumes that the person last seen with the deceased was responsible for their death, and the accused is supposed to present an explanation of what happened"
Forensic evidence found blood stains on Jowie's shorts that belonged to Monica.

Business woman Monica Kimani body was found at her apartment in kilimani. She had just arrived from South Sudan before she was found murdered and her body found in a bathtub.
